Some of the carers said… “Even in physical healthcare, “Carers were forgotten ‘the person pushing the wheelchair’ for a while” helping the patient, “The concentration is ignored” is fully on the patient, but the family have to pick up the pieces” “The families of the Patient are disregarded” 6

  7. First Steps  Volunteers, carers, service users and staff attended the Patient Feedback Training prior to starting the project.  The skills gained are all transferable in other areas. 7
