PAPER PRESENTATION Are you a techno- geek who just can’t get enough of engineering? Do you have a path-breaking idea that can change the way we understand and perceive our physical world? Have you studied an existing industrial or technical procedure/operation and figured out some hitherto unknown system/idea to enhance the efficiency and the productivity of the status-quo? Are you waiting for a launch pad to bring them to light? If yes, Intecho provides the perfect opportunity to give life to your dreams and lets the tech world talk about it. Rules: Maximum of three authors per paper are permitted. Only one abstract per author is permitted. Mail your abstracts to paperpresentation.intecho2020@gmail.com The full length papers must be submitted in IEEE format and should not exceed 6 pages. Participants whose paper is selected for the presentation must register by paying fee for the event in the college premises . There is no online registration. Certificates will be issued only to those participants, who present their paper on-site. Prizes will be awarded based on the criteria decided by the panel of judges. Decision of judges shall be final. If a participant does not abide by any of the aforementioned rules or involves in displaying any indiscipline, his/her paper will be disqualified automatically.
CONTEST FORMAT: Participants will be shortlisted for presentation based on abstracts you have mailed and intimated via mail. Round 1: The participants called for presentation have to present their papers in front of a student panel consisting of post graduate students. The presentation session will last for a maximum of 6-8 minutes followed by a questionnaire session. Participants will be shortlisted for the next round based on their performance. Round 2: The participants selected in Round 1 will have to present their papers in front of a panel of experienced professors. A maximum of 8-10 minutes shall be allotted for the oral presentation and 4 minutes for questioning. Prizes will be decided based on the performance in round 2. The contest organizer shall arrange a timing system a. A signal will be given at the beginning of the oral presentation. b. A first warning signal will be given halfway through the presentation period. c. A second warning signal will be given two minutes prior to the end of the presentation. d. A stop signal will be given at the end of the presentation period.
