AEC ENVIRONMENTALLY DRIVEN RISK REDUCTION Requirements: • The primary objective of the SOS contract is to provide contractor site management support services that will enable the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) Site Operations Division (SOD) to accomplish its mission at NETL facilities located in Morgantown, West Virginia, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania • The SOD mission is to provide, operate, and maintain state-of-the- art facilities to support and enhance accomplishment of DOE program goals
AEC ENVIRONMENTALLY DRIVEN RISK REDUCTION Requirements: • The site management support services include providing cost- effective, reliable, energy efficient utilities and services, facilities, and equipment to NETL in an environmentally acceptable manner • Site management support specifically includes: • Engineering and technical management and consultation services • Life-cycle asset management and consultation services • Property management services
AEC ENVIRONMENTALLY DRIVEN RISK REDUCTION Requirements: • The second objective is to provide R&D facility support services that enable the on-site DOE/NETL R&D organization to accomplish its mission at NETL facilities located in Morgantown, West Virginia, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The primary mission of the research program is to conduct world-class research activities that make vital contributions in the production and use of fossil energy in an environmentally acceptable manner • These R&D facility support services specifically include • Research facility engineering and construction support • Research facility maintenance support • Fabrication and assembly support • Research facility utilities and services support • Quality assurance and quality control support
