Take Aways... BFN operators demonstrated that continuing training at BFN prepared them to respond to the events of April 27, 2011, under very difficult circumstances. Greater emphasis on consideration of severe weather and loss of offsite power as multi-unit events during simulator training Additionally, it was noted that due to time constraints simulator scenarios rarely progressed to the point of cooling the reactor down to cold conditions
