• IAF Resolution 2017-13 – Transitional Arrangements for the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 - The General Assembly, acting on the recommendation of the Technical Committee, resolved that at the end of the transition period, 15 September 2018, all ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certifications shall expire or be withdrawn. IAF • As of 15 March 2018, CABs shall conduct all ISO 9001 Transition and ISO 14001 initial, surveillance, and Resolutions recertification audits to the new versions (ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015). The outcomes of such audits shall be considered by the CAB for further decision on accredited certifications to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 as deemed appropriate.

• In 2016 the IAF Executive undertook to explore development of an IAF Register of certifications • Principles were developed, circulated and signed off by membership • Database Management Committee formed to IAF develop business case Database • First business case circulated returned with several Acceptance concerns • Consultant further developed, tender for database developer, vendors screened, business case finalized • GA approved development on 30 October
