Flowline Integrity Management Flow line I ntegrity • Maintain strong focus on flowline integrity. • Flowline Integrity Management Manual will be submitted to NEB and SLWB by September 30, 2014. Will highlight corrosion management plan including: • chemical programs • weight loss coupons • flowline inspections • coatings and liners • maintenance pigging • non-destructive examination (NDE) • cathodic protection • facilities and production surveillance replaced mainland east produced water injection line 32

Closure & Reclam ation W orking Group Imperial plans to update the existing Conceptual Closure and Reclamation Plan. The SLWB has issued Terms of Reference and invitation for membership in a “Closure and Reclamation Work Group” to facilitate discussion and provide input on the Plan. Working Group Goals: • confirm closure criteria (CCME, site specific) • study is scientifically rigorous, incorporates Traditional Knowledge • communities understand and support planned end land use Schedule: • post-hearing 2014: working group membership finalized; first meeting • post-licence renewal: goals, accountabilities, responsibilities agreed • post-renewal + 1 year: working sessions • 1 year post-renewal: Imperial to submit plan for regulatory approval A&R work will continue to progress as the Closure Plan is being developed. 38
