RESEARCH

The purpose of the project is to study NIGHTMARES. To find out how it affects the sleeping cycles of children. In order to help understand the importance of sleep in a child’s growth.

Around 75% of children remember having at least one nightmare during childhood. An estimate of 10 to 50%

The cause of fear or anxiety varies from child to child. Nightmares are a common issue that interrupts a child from getting the required amount of sleep needed.

PROBLEM

To create a product that will ease and comfort a child’s anxieties in order to reduce the number of nightmares so they can receive the necessary amount of sleep in order to grow and develop both physically and mentally.

OBJECTIVE

Dream Buddies will ease your child’s anxiety by targeting specific fears that may trigger nightmares. Each buddie provides comfort, saving parents from comforting their child personally and allowing both parent and child to get uninterrupted sleep.
