The “point” of our name: • This church was founded by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and on the authority of His word. • The point where we put our faith into action is where our church comes to life. Through God’s grace we live our mission – Love Each Other, Learn His Word and Shine His Light .
The “point” of our name: • Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. - Hebrews 11
The “point” of our name: • Point has many different meanings, including:
The “point” of our name: ~to direct or to show someone ; • This church will collectively point others to Jesus through our actions and our teaching. • “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 11:1
The “point” of our name: ~a meeting place ; • We meet at the point (place) of faith , both physically and spiritually. • “We are the household of faith .” Gal. 6:10
The “point” of our name: ~to have a specified direction; • “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness..” Matt 6:33 • “My eyes are fixed on you, O Lord” Psalm 141:8
The “point” of our name: ~a particular step, stage, or degree in development; • At FaithPoint, we honor the authority of God’s Word and teach it with integrity, so that seekers find Christ, believers mature in Him and the family is spiritually nurtured.
