  5. ELIGIBLE PROJECTS • Those demonstrating a good fit with at least one overarching objective :- • Driving Business growth • Developing advanced manufacturing capabilities • Creating high value jobs • Improvement of resource efficiency (carbon footprint)

  6. NON - ELIGIBLE PROJECTS • Sales lead generation, identifying selling agents (UK & Overseas) • Generation of marketing and selling materials • Advertising, PR, Marketing materials, Logos & Branding, Brand Management • Intellectual property fees • Anything related to websites or social media • Open training courses, NVQ courses • Anything that is a statutory requirement • Preparing annual accounts, Tax and VAT consultancy • Materials

  7. SUBSIDY GUIDELINES • Grant funding levels • Up to £3,000 • Up to 50% of total project costs • Up to £300 per day subsidy • Repeat Projects in rolling 12 month period • – up to 50% subsidy 1 st Project • – up to 40% subsidy 2 nd Project • – up to 30% subsidy 3 rd Project

  8. HIGH LEVEL PROCESS Business Development Activity – Direct from Manufacturer to advisor or Enquiry helpline, referral from partner (e.g. UKTI), or form consultants. Manufacturing Free On-site review of manufacturing business – determine SME status, Review understand current issues, record observations, develop action plan including project scope. Manufacturer submits application form for grant funding to assist Funding Application with delivery of identified / scoped projects. Selection of consultant form AMS Directory. MAS allocates and confirms level and condition of grant Funding Offer funding (e.g. Time bound) Project Delivery & Project Delivery – MAS Advisor manages project to ensure on Management track MAS Advisor collates project outputs and feedback from Outputs & Feedback client. Another Project? Manufacturer invited to invoice MAS for Grant funding Grant Payment
