Timetable of Activities Day 1 (June 15 th )  11:15am - Depart from St Chad’s  12pm – Arrive, welcome and lunch  1pm – 4pm – On-site orienteering, Den Building, Campfire and tool skills  4pm - Adventure play and fire drill  5pm - Settling in and showers  6pm - Evening Meal, make lunches  7pm - Team building activities Games on the grounds  9pm - Lights out

  6. Timetable of Activities Day 2 (June 16 th )  8am – Breakfast, get ready and pack rucksacks  9am - Ilkley Moors Discovery Walk (lunch and ice cream en route)  3:30pm – Return to camp. Journey map creation and debrief  4pm - Adventure play  5pm – Showers and free time  6pm - Evening Meal, make lunches  7pm – Games and quiz night  8:30pm - Lights out

  7. Timetable of Activities Day 3 (June 16 th )  8am – Breakfast, get ready and clear dorms  9am – Morning activities: Woodland Orienteering, tbc Awards and certificates  12pm - Lunch (on site)  1pm – Return to school  2pm - Residential based activities/discussion

Learning Outcomes PSHE - Children will have the opportunity to face new and different challenges: staying away from home, making informed choices about how to develop healthy lifestyles, opportunities to socialise and visit new places Geography – Recognise differences between localities, describe the physical and human features of areas, map skills and orienteering. PE – Orienteering, Ilkley Moors Walk, adventure play, den building Design and Technology – shelter building, materials, tools

Kit List Suggested 2 night residential kit list Day Bag / Rucksack hat (winter or summer) gloves/scarf water-proof coat lunch sun cream medication (inhalers etc) water bottle (with water in it!) spare socks Note: scarves, gloves & sun-cream are weather-dependent! Two night (weekend) Bag (small enough for child to carry) Indoor shoes/trainers 2 x trousers/shorts 3 x t-shirts/shirts 2 x jumpers/fleece 4 x socks 4 x underwear towel toothbrush toothpaste hairbrush soap/shower gel pyjamas sheet sleeping bag/duvet & cover Please DO NOT bring any electrical equipment. This includes ipads, ipods, mobile phones and cameras.  Note: there is no shop at Nell Bank, however children may bring £2 for an ice cream on the Moors Walk

Meal arrangements Day one  Lunch – Children will bring a packed lunch in their day packs Snack – Fruit Dinner – Pasta Day two  Breakfast – Cereal, toast and fruit Lunch – Packed lunch (made by the children) Snack – Ice cream (additional £2 needed) Dinner – tbc Day three  Breakfast – Cereal, toast and fruit Lunch – Packed lunch (made by the children) All diet requirements will be catered for.

  11. Cost and Payment Options  Total cost - £85 (£72 accommodation)  Payment Method – Cash or Parent Pay  A payment card, kitlist and medical form will be sent out following the meeting  The session slides will be put onto the website
