 1912, Established by Executive Order • Initially given 47,600 acres • Rescinded/reduced to 21,840 acres  Federally recognized in December of 1961  Governed by a five member Council • Chairman and Vice-Chairman • 3 Council Members  There are currently 1,038 registered members  365 Multi-Family Homes

 22,159 acres (land held in Trust by the US on behalf of ACIC). About 70% (16,000 acres) is used for agricultural purposes.  1,291.499 acres of Fee Land (land not in Trust; owned by the Community) include: • Airport/Industrial Fee Land – 685.541 acres • BLM Fee Land – 160 acres • Knorr Farms Fee Land - 319.258 acres • Sensintaffer Fee Land – 20 acres • Hoyt Fee Land – 65 acres • Ak-Chin Gin Land Exchange Fee – 41.7 acres
