  15. INNOVATIVE METHODS ADAPTED, IF ANY, FOR COMMUNITY MOBILIZATION , TECHNOLOGY DISSEMINATION ➢ REGULAR AND INTENSIVE VILLAGE AND HAMLET LEVEL MEETINGS ➢ DETAILED SURVEY, ELABORATE DATA ANALYSIS & COMPULSARY BENEFICIARY PARTICIPATION ➢ SENSITIZATION OF VILLAGE COMMUNITY THROUGH MEETINGS & TRAININGS ➢ DEMONSTRATION OF PROPOSED TECHNICAL INTERVENTION ➢ LINKAGE WITH DIFERENT GOVERNMENT LINE DEPARTMENTS ➢ FORMATION OF USER GROUPS FOR EACH ACTIVITY ➢ IMPORTANCE ON CAPACITY BUILDING OF USER GROUPS

  16. SPECIFIC ACTION TAKEN TO MAKE SURE THAT THE TARGET VILLAGE / VILLAGERS HAVE A SOURCE OF DRINKING WATER THAT IS SAFE During the project period testing of drinking water sources WAS DONE several times. Water testing reports were discussed with villagers to make people aware on village level and SHG meetings and informed not to use the water of affected sources for drinking purpose. Contaminated water sources were either treated with the help of Government Agencies or closed down. Water filter production training and distribution of the same made through the local youths after imparting training.

  17. SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN IN REGARD TO RAIN WATER HARVESTING & WASTE WATER RECYCLING ➢ VILLAGE MEETINGS TO SPREAD AWARENESS ➢ EXPLAIN THE NEED & BENEFITS ➢ DEVELOP DEMONSTARTION UNIT FOR EXHIBITING THE BENEFITS

  18. SIGNIFICANT ACHIEVEMENTS ➢ ACTIVE PARTICIPATION OF BENEFICIARIES IN COMMUNITY SHED CONSTRUCTION ➢ ACTIVE PARTICIPATION OF WOMEN IN ADULT LITERACY PROGRAM TO BECOME LITERATE ➢ AWARENESS GENERATED REGARDING SOIL HEALTH ➢ ADOPTION OF ORGANIC FERTILIZER ➢ AWARENESS GENERATED REGARDING USE OF SAFE DRINKING WATER ➢ USE OF WATER FILTERS BY AROUND 50% TARGET HOUSEHOLDS ➢ ADOPTION OF SCIENTIFIC PRACTICES FOR LIVESTOCK REARING ➢ ADOPTION OF SCIENTIFIC AGRICULUTURAL PRACTICES LIKE SRI

  19. ACTIVITIES WHICH REQUIRE MORE INTERVENTIONS ➢ CONTSRUCTION AND USE OF SANITARY TOILTES ➢ ENSURE POTABLE WATER SUPPLY TO EVERY HOUSEHOLD ➢ ENSURE EVERY VILLAGE HAS PROPER DRAINAGE SYSTEM ➢ NEED AND USE OF SMOKELESS COOKING PRACTICES ➢ ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT ➢ ENSURE PROPOER MARKET LINKAGE FOR ALL PRODUCES ➢ ENSURE QUALITY EDUCATION IN GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS
