VISITOR EXPENDITURE: NATURE NATURE-BASED TOURISM IS CONTRIBUTING $1.3b To year ending December 2018, tourism contributed $6.8 billion dollars to the South Australian economy and $1.3 billion of that contribution is attributed to nature-based tourism expenditure. By 2020, nature-based tourism expenditure will inject $350 million each year into the South Australian economy.
