Art theme – considerations  Artists/partners need to be identified to create, install, and fund pieces  Timing of art installations needs to coincide with construction to avoid providing blank pallet for graffiti  Art along the corridor requires partnership with city of Austin for maintenance  Graffiti/defacement of art may trigger painting over with minimal opportunity for artist to repair  Artworks may only be installed where they are not a distraction to drivers Mobility35 Aesthetics 03/29/2016 22
