586 Sports History 586 is an offspring of the well established SBG Sports. It has continued its traditionally rally preparation theme whilst expanding and exploring a range of different developments. 586 are proud of their history and a key developing aspects is the manufacturing backing. 586 have previously worked with the likes of Volkswagen and Seat producing BRC Rally Cars with great effect. Director Steve Black has been in the motorsport industry for over 30 years boasting a range of experience and achievements. Why 586 Sports have developed this project? In 2007, director Steve Black identified an opportunity in the motorsport market. As a result of the developing economic climate, Steve wanted to provide a package which maximises the value of a rally to any driver. www.586sports.com
What will the car bring to you? • Consistency – 586 are extremely proud of their finish rate, competing in a total of 12 rally’s in their MG ZR’s and finishing 10. This is a finish percentage of 83% (statistics based on 26/06/09). 586 are also keen to underline the fact that they have never suffered a re-occurrence of retirement.
