39th International Symposium on Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science (MFCS 2014) Department of Algorithms and Their Applications, Faculty of Informatics, Eötvös Loránd University , Budapest Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest , is a leading university in Hungary, with eight faculties, Hungary’s largest selection of educational programmes, about 30 000 students, outstanding scientific activities and extensive relationships with universities all over the world. The Faculty of Informatics, founded in 2003, has nine departments, among them the Department of Algorithms and Their Applications, with broad educational scope.
39th International Symposium on Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science (MFCS 2014) Department of Foundations of Computer Science, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Informatics, University of Szeged The University of Szeged is one of the four universities of excellence of Hungary, with twelve faculties, about 27 000 students, outstanding scientific activities and extensive relationships with universities all over the world. The Institute of Informatics has six departments and a research unit, including the Department of Foundations of Computer Science which organised several leading TCS conferences (FCT, DLT, ICALP, CSL). The first university programme in Computer Science in Hungary was launched in the University of Szeged.
