Future Extensions • Airport Line under construction, providing additional journey opportunities • New Park and Ride at Sale Water Park on the Airport Line • Second City Crossing in the city centre • Upgrade of Victoria, St Peter’s Square and Deansgate- Castlefield stops • Trafford Park Line with a new Wharfside stop serving the Stadium

Metrolink Match day services • Four stops serving Old Trafford Stadium: Trafford Bar, Exchange Quay, Old Trafford and Salford Quays • Park and Ride facilities across the network including a new 300 space Park and Ride facility at East Didsbury, free to Metrolink users • Match day service up to 21 doubles post match across the Altrincham, Eccles and East Didsbury lines • Run services until the event attendees have cleared
Metrolink Match day services • Bi-lingual announcements on trams, on-stop and website • New more reliable M5000 trams in service • PSR support and specialist event management staff pre- and post match • Waiting times can be: Old Trafford – 20 to 24 mins Exchange Quay - 20 to 24 mins Trafford Bar – 12 mins Salford Quays – 12 mins
Improving the match day experience • Reviewing queuing signage – to give waiting estimates • Ability to install priority / pre- purchased ticket lanes • Metrolink match-day season ticket • Non-match-day joint offers for MUFC Museum/Stadium Tour • Match day experience – enhancing the journey in other ways including on-board and stop announcements
Trafford Park line • Proposals for new 5.5km line from Pomona to the Trafford Centre • Connecting to key employment areas in Trafford Park including the Trafford Centre • Connecting to leisure opportunities Trafford Centre and Old Trafford for shopping and football • 6 new stops: Wharfside Imperial War Museum North Village Way Parkway Circle Event City Trafford Centre
