Highest performing online school in Oregon Figure 1: Demographics enrollment data by district GBSD highest at 55%, Reynolds is next highest at 15% and then Centennial at 7% Figure 2: Attrition Rate MEWA enrolled 228 students and withdrew 64. Based on an average of 550 students, the attrition rate for 2018 to date is 11.6%. This is down from 17.5% during the same period (Sept-Nov) of the previous year (2017).

Highest performing online school in Oregon Figure 5: 12 year cohort data. 106 students enrolled in their 12 th grade year at MEWA in 2017-2018. GBSD accounted for 37.7% of students credit deficient of all 12 th grade students that enrolled in 17/18 and 42% of on track graduates versus 27.36% credit deficient from all other area high schools with a 45.3% on track graduation rate. Figure 6: Income versus expenditures MEWA continues to operate with financially prudent practices to grow the ending fund balance every year. Highest performing online school in Oregon Figure 7: Graduation data -24 students received an Associate’s Degree in concurrence with earning a HS diploma in 2018. 45 students in Early College graduated compared to 91 MEWA online high school students. 15 students have received a GED. Dropout rate was calculated based on enrollment statistics prior to state exit adjustments. 13 students were able to graduate on-time that were previously off track. MEWA graduated a total of 136 students for the 2017-2018 school year.
