MARRIOTT MARQUIS MIAMI CONVENTION & EXPO CENTER KEY COMMUNITY BENEFITS • Creation of an additional $1.28 million in annual tax increment revenues retained by the CRA to reinvest in affordable housing workforce development, child and youth services, among other priorities. • Placement services will be available through the City of Miami’s Career Source South Florida Center, South Florida Minority, Supplier Development Council, Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce, the State of Florida Economic Development entities as well as programs sponsored by the SEOPW CRA.

MARRIOTT MARQUIS MIAMI CONVENTION & EXPO CENTER COMMUNITY BENEFITS DURING CONSTRUCTION • MDM will hire local laborers and skilled workers, with priority given to residents living within the CRA Redevelopment Area and Overtown • Revision of the criminal background screening policies to make them compliant with E.E.O.C. standards requiring a case-by- case analysis of past criminal offenses based on supplemental information provided by the candidate in order determine whether such offenses are “job - related” and/or “inconsistent with the necessities of the business” prior to denying employment based on a criminal record • All construction workers to be paid, at minimum, a Living Wage

MARRIOTT MARQUIS MIAMI CONVENTION & EXPO CENTER COMMUNITY BENEFITS DURING CONSTRUCTION • Electrical Workers, Glaziers, Plumbers, and Pipefitters will be paid Responsible Wages • MDM will hire no less than 20% of its subcontractors from City of Miami and 60% of its subcontractors Miami-Dade County • Small Business Enterprise firms participation between 10% and 20% of the total dollar value of all contracts for goods and services, construction services, and architectural & engineering services. • All employees to receive hourly wages of $10 an hour + $4.63 in paid benefits adjusted annually for CPI

MARRIOTT MARQUIS MIAMI CONVENTION & EXPO CENTER COMMUNITY BENEFITS DURING OPERATIONS • MDM will hire no less than 70% of its workforce from local communities, with priority given to the residents of the CRA Redevelopment Area and Overtown • MDM has executed a Labor Peace Agreement with UNITE HERE Local 355 that will provide orderly process for the unionization of the Project’s workforce. • MDM will offer paid internships to students of Booker T. Washington, Edison, Northwestern and Jackson Senior High Schools

MARRIOTT MARQUIS MIAMI CONVENTION & EXPO CENTER COMMUNITY BENEFITS DURING OPERATIONS • MDM will make an annual contribution of $100,000 to support a workforce training institute sponsored by the SEOPW CRA • MDM, in partnership with the SEOPW CRA & local community organizations, will work to provide small, minority firms, with a focus on African-American owned firms, opportunities to directly contract as vendors for the Project or service hotel and convention center patrons. MDM will advise the public of these opportunities through media & event outreach
