Machinery & Equipment for Expansion (adding the Electrical/Mechanical Program, Mechatronics, Process Controls) - $993,000 Funding Plan to Acquire Equipment – Utilize State Strong THE PLAN FOR Workforce Funds to provide 50% local match for Federal Economic Development Administration (EDA) Grant of up EXPANSION to $1 million. $1 million State Grant has been Awarded! Federal grant is now being reviewed. New staff will need to be hired to administer VOLT as well as funding needed to handle overhead until such time that the training center becomes self-sufficient (estimated to be FY 2020-2021). CDBG Funds will be used to offset staff costs.
