Progress Violent crime in the Night Time Economy in Newport has been reduced following the work carried out by the NTE Group Data collated from the police reports between 1 January 2017 to 11 July 2017, in comparison to the previous year show: • 10% drop in NTE Crime (131 crimes committed had dropped from 145 in previous year)
Progress In relation to reviewing data, an Analyst Group is being created to build relationships between partners to improve the collection, sharing and use of data
Progress • ASB Joint Action Group (JAG) will be creating a profile of street drinkers on the island • Campaign will be launched to raise awareness of the role alcohol plays in Domestic Abuse
