What Money Do We Need To Spend? Required Parent Involvement Set Aside Some ideas… Title I requires that 1 Parent Involvement % of its entire Coordinators allocation be set aside for parent Transportation, Childcare, involvement. Translation 5 % may be used at the Parenting Classes district level Parent Resource Room 95 % must be allocated to Training for Teachers on Title I schools. Working with Parents As a Title I parent, you Parent have the right to be Academies/Workshops involved in how these funds are spent.
How Much Money Is There To Spend? FY 13 Parent Involvement Set Aside Total Title I Allocation: $2,545,042 1% Set Aside: $25,450 95 % to Schools: $24,178 There are 5 Title I schools in FCSS who share this amount 5 % to District: $1272 This is used for parent programs sponsored by the district BOE
