TELO DUTIES Terminology Exports – students leaving your school Imports – students coming to your school Eligible employees – individuals employed by your school deemed eligible Dependents – the employee, employee spouse or partner, employee’s child(ren) or step-child(ren). Think IRS definition Annual Report – snap shot of annual imports and exports; due October 15 Balance Sheet – rolling five year review of imports and exports
TELO DUTIES Terminology E/I 3 – Export – Import 3 – allows schools who have signed-up to export up to three students annually. These three exports do not effect your Annual Report. Schools are expected to offer an equal number of imports. Offer is the key – keep track of your yearly import offers. Even if they decline your school meets the requirement – offered No additional cost Must update Question 7 of your Institutional Profile E/I 3 schools should not experience Restriction TE Central reviews annual balance sheets

TELO DUTIES DC 3 – Double Credit 3 – if your school belongs to another recognized exchange program – your school can earn credit for those imported students Does your school work with other exchange programs if yes, you are eligible to participate Additional cost for this program. $35 per import
HOW DO I ADD DC 3 STUDENTS TO MY ANNUAL REPORT Start here Be sure to click the Double Credit Program button The list of all recognized TE DC3 programs is presented. Pick the one your school belongs. Be sure to click submit!

CALENDAR January – review your Annual Report February – continue to approve Spring/Fall Imports March – maintain positive communication flow with Financial Aid and Admissions April – finalize Imports and keep Export decision information up to date May – be sure all Imports are approved or rejected June – confirm continuing student Imports retain eligibility and meet your school’s eligibility requirements
CALENDAR July – Clean-up your Annual Report details; Annual TE Dues payment of $500 due 7-1 ACH or check August – Make sure all your new imports are enrolled and exports are approved September – Clean-up Imports and Exports October – finalize your Annual Report due October 15; Submit Participation Fees - $35 per export and $35 per DC 3 students November – Host TE informational sessions December – Continue to provide TE information to your employees and potential imports
