Early History Built in 1930’s as a 9 hole golf course - part of “Gaffney’s Grove” Resort All 9 holes were on the lower portion of the golf course, where holes 15-18 are located today Included a “day and night” driving range
Ownership Gaffney’s Grove Resort (original owner) The Coleman Family Bellevue Based Developers – Started housing development Japanese Based Developers – Completed housing development American Golf Corporation City of Maple Valley – City contracted with Premier Golf Centers LLC to manage the course in April 2007.

Housing development started in the 1980’s
Current 18 hole configuration opened as Wilderness Ridge in 1971. Known as one of top courses in Pacific Northwest.
New 16,000 sq. ft. club house opened in 1970, remodeled in 1990’s
