What is LOA? ● Program ○ Created by John Underwood, American Athletic Institute ● Philosophy – a way of being, a lifestyle ● Teaching beyond the X’s and O’s ● Systemic Community Approach to prevention ○ Reducing risk factors & Increasing protective factors ○ Consistent Boundaries and Consequences ○ Teaching “Lifestyle” for chemical usage, nutrition, rest and recovery

CREED for KM COMMITTED I, as member of KM committed, vow to stay dedicated to this program, my sport and all that they encompass. I pledge myself to live the life of an athlete: being a team player, always having a positive attitude, giving 100% effort, and living the Laser Way. I promise to always encourage my team, being the best version of myself on and off the field. By being a member of KM Committed, I devote myself to a high school experience with a chemical free social life, and encourage others to do the same. I am committed to representing Kettle Moraine with the utmost character through struggles and successes, being a positive influence on my peers and community. This is my promise: I am KM Committed!
