  2. ▪ School Hours: 7:40 – 2:20 ▪ Children can enter the classroom at 7:10 and are considered tardy if not in the classroom by 7:40. ▪ The Fulton County Board of Education considers regular school attendance essential to successful school progress. Students must be present to take full advantage of available educational opportunities. ▪ If your child is sick due to an illness, a written excuse (note or e-mail) must be sent within 3 days of returning to school for the absence to be considered excused. ▪ Please do not send your child to school unless he/she has been without fever or symptoms for 24 hours.

  4. Register to Volunteer – You must register to volunteer if you choose to be a mystery reader or craft helper.   5. ▪ Must have a written note or phone call to office for any change in afternoon transportation ▪ Folders go home daily with a daily sheet report. Please send folders and daily sheets back to school, so we can keep communicating about your child. ▪ Due to school policy, no food or party MISCELLANEOUS decorations can be sent for birthday celebrations. Parents can be a surprise mystery reader for that day and bring something to share with the class (pencils, stickers, etc …) No party invitations can be sent through the school. ▪ Spirit Wear days are every Friday. Wear your AES colors or an AES shirt. ▪ Please send a water bottle/ cup for your child every day for lunch/ snack time.
