Kelowna � United � FC M ission: • The Kelowna United Football Club is a not-for-profit organization within the Central Okanagan Y outh Soccer Association that provides opportunities for youth to play competitive level youth soccer in British Columbia. Coaches • Can be a hired Coach or Parent Coach. • Role and Responsibilities • Lead the players, and coach the team. • Coaches are subject to BCS A Disciplinary Policy. • Coaches are also subject to KUFC Disciplinary Policy. • TOYSL - M inimum CCY Certification for Provincials • Y – League – Recommended minimum Pre-B. • PCL – Pre-B Recommended • Answers to the Technical Director
Parents KUFC encourages all parents or guardians: • to participate in all social aspects of the team’s development, • to participate as a supporter in all games, • to encourage all players to play in a sporting way, with enthusiasm and love for the game. • T o avoid contacting coaches when discussing game tactics or team decisions, • T o allow referees to interpret the rules of the game, and allow officials to adjudicate the games without intimidation.
Parents Disputes: • If disputes arise, an Incident Form is to be submitted to the Board. No phone calls, long emails or on-field arguments. • The T echnical Director and the KU Discipline Chair will examine or file all Incident Forms as they arise. • Role and Responsibilities • Parents are NOT subject to BCS A Disciplinary Policy. • Parent ARE subject to KUFC Disciplinary Policy.
