  2. Center for Health Justice  The Center for Health Justice is an innovative nonprofit organization with an outstanding history of leadership to address HIV treatment issues among prisoner and parolee populations. Founded in 2000 in response to unmet needs of inmates living with HIV/AIDS in Los Angeles County, we have over 10 years experience of providing highly focused HIV treatment and prevention services to this underserved population. We are the only organization in the USA exclusively focused on HIV and incarceration, and engage in both direct service work, and state and national policy advocacy to improve HIV prevention and treatment for prisoners.

  3. Mission  Our mission is to empower people affected by incarceration to make healthier choices, and to advocate for the elimination of disparities between prisoner health and public health. We engage in both direct service work and state and national policy advocacy to improve the health of prisoners and parolees.
