Expected Results 1. To monitor and adjust the production process in real-time, 1. through simulation-based control algorithms, so that the product performance indicators fit the target, achieving zero defects in the final product. 2. To increase the production flexibility by decreasing the time 2. needed for the adjustment and ramp-up of the production line and the fabrication process parameters for production of new designs by at least 30%. 3. To increase the efficiency of the line by achieving at least a 10% 3. reduction in rejected units and material. 4 . To reduce production costs by at least 15% and increase production rates by at least 15%. 5. 5. To install and demonstrate these model-based control tools on three real process chains (TRL 7).
