What is the point of taking weighted classes if the universities look at unweighted core GPA? Class rank is weighted. Universities and some scholarships look at both unweighted core course work and weighted class rank.

Online applications open during the summer of 2017! In-state University requirements: Rank in the top 25% of your class OR Have a 3.0 un-weighted core GPA or better in the 16 core courses OR Score a 22 on the ACT or 1120 on the SAT (does not include writing score). Send scores directly from College Board or ACTstudent.org to colleges. No deficiencies in core courses Applicants who don’t meet the above standards may be evaluated and accepted under conditional circumstances.

Check with your University Some Universities - SAT Subject Tests (not required by in-state schools) Due to the changes to the SAT, there are almost no differences between the two exams.
