Action It Item B: : Authorize Mayor to sig ign in interlo local l cooperative agreement Tarrant County Commissioners Court offering Westworth Village: $145,200 • Restricted fund reimbursement for COVID expenses at 100%, no match. Approximately $15,000 spent to date • Applicable for future expenses through December 20, 2020 Recommend the council authorize the mayor to execute the interlocal cooperation agreement with the Tarrant County Commissioners Court for direct expense reimbursement grant funding in the allowable amount COVID related expenses.
Action It Item C: : Ju June Utili ility Billin illing • April: no fees assessed and no service terminations • May: late fees reinstated and no service terminations, if not more than one month in arears. Less than 1% of Westworth Village residents needed assistance by the end of last month, however several took advantage of the opportunity. Recommendation to return to standard utilities billing practices in accordance with the city ordinance.
Action It Item D: : Ordin inance 465 – reducin ing the speed lim limit it to 25mph The Public Safety Committee unanimously recommended council reduce the speed limit on all streets to 25 mile per hour, excluding: • Alleyways • School zone on Burton Hill Road • Burton Hill Road • White Settlement Road East of Roaring Springs Road to the city limit • Roaring Springs Road • Pumphrey • Highway 183/Westworth Blvd city limit to city limit This will cost approximately $18,000 to purchase and install the required traffic signs and educational materials to inform the public.
