Television/ Movies • T.V and movies have plots and conflicts usually associated with gender of the lead role. • Male targeted shows are typically have more action and bravado • Female targeted shows have more drama and have plots dealing with more person conflicts

Things are Starting to Change • Although still seen today these influences are becoming and less gender specific. • With Movies like the "Hunger Games" and "Divergent" that are full of action with strong female leads • As for guys we now have Movies like "That Awkward Moment" and "What to Expect When You're Expecting."
