Hello, my name is …
Rutland Conquerors started in 2007 to provides teens and young adults with additional needs the opportunity to play basketball.
When the club started there was only a few of us so we learnt to play basketball with our brothers, sisters, mums and dads.
But now look how many of us there are!
We receive expert coaching from John Smith, in a fun and friendly environment.
We have taken part in lots of games and tournaments in lots of different places with lots of different teams.
After which 6 of us from Rutland Conquerors got chosen to take part in the 2017 Special Olympics in Sheffield as part of the East Midland team.
We will be going with lots of other teams from around England and will be supported by … John Debbie Jacqui
Thanks to some great fundraising and the Senior Management Team at Rutland County Council we have raised almost enough funds for us to go to the Special Olympics.
This will be a great experience for us and we hope to do the best we can.
Rutland Conquerors Inclusive Basketball is on Facebook so please like our page to be kept informed of what we are doing.
