Strategic Planning • The most important ac6vity HEAnet undertook this year, apart from running the core services, was the development of a new Strategic Plan to drive the company forward over the next five years. • The strategy document provides a framework for management decision‐making in a range of areas including current and future services development. • It addresses fundamental issues around why HEAnet exists, how the company adds value for client organisaAons, delivers real cost benefits to the funders of educaAon and research in Ireland and where the networking organisaAon wants to be in the future.
