Horwood A&B & Student Horwood Tower What are we building? Union • Demolition of circa 700 existing bedrooms and con- struction of circa 1500 new bedrooms will see a small increase in bed numbers on campus which will meet our Library growth estimates. Phase 3. • There will be a mix of blocks containing cluster fmats and Phase 1a . Horwood terraces of 3/4 storey town-houses. The existing tower 5 Houses Town-Houses at Horwood will be replaced. • The new blocks will be laid out to create communities within the existing halls. Phase 2. Lindsay • They will be designed to respond to the specifjc context Upper and unique character of each of the existing halls. Keele Hall • Enhanced landscape and public realm will create a clear distinction between the academic core and the res- idential neighbourhoods Phase 1c.
