Conclusions • A relatively small source of fresh groundwater exists as a thin and narrow lens recharged by large flow events • There are few groundwater access licences • Groundwater extractions have not exceeded the Long Term Average Annual Extraction Limit • Water levels are generally steady, although declines of about 2 meters are evident is some areas Page 11
