Johan Botha is a big crop farmer who lives near Wesselsbron in the Free State. He plants corn (maize), sunflowers and peanuts each year. Johan has a big problem. Time is running out to plant and he did not have enough rain so that he can plant. If it doesn’t rain soon he will not be able to plant and he will harvest nothing for this year. He applied for water rights from the Department of Agriculture to put up a hub to supply his crops with water from the river. Unfortunately, it will take too long. If it doesn’t rain many farmers will not be able to plant any maize crops for this year to sell. 2.1.1 Identify any TWO components of the macro environments is causing this problem in this article?
