35 TH ANNUAL CHAPITRE OF THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES W e would like to invite you to our Grand Chapitre, celebrating 35 years of the Chaine des Rotisseurs in the United Arab Emirates and the fjrst anniversary of the unifjcation of our National Bailliages of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain. Tie Chaine des Rotisseurs has had a presence in the U.A.E. since 1981 when Al Ain, Abu Dhabi and Dubai formed individual Bailliages. In 2014 it was agreed that all three would unite to form one United Arab Emirates Bailliage and in doing so, become around the 15th largest national chapter in the world. Tie Arab world is renowned for its hospitality and certainly the Emirates is recognised for the fantastic standard of hotels, restaurants and entertainment that are now on ofger. Although spoilt for choice, we have focused on showcasing the most iconic landmarks in the region: the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, where we will be hosting our Welcome Party; the amazing Burj Al Arab, where we will stage our Grand Enthronization Dinner; and Abu Dhabi’s extraordinarily impressive Emirates Palace Hotel to name just three. Our weekend will commence with a glamorous cocktail reception at the Armani Hotel, which is housed in the Burj Khalifa. During the party, guests will marvel at the spectacular music, lights and cascading fountains that draw so much attention in the evenings in Downtown Dubai. Saturday’s Enthronization Ceremony and Gala Dinner will take place in the majestic ballroom at the very top of the Burj Al Arab Hotel. On Sunday our adventure continues with a leisurely gourmet lunch, served on board the luxurious Bateaux Dubai, cruising along Dubai’s Creek in the heart of the old quarter. In the evening we will take you to the top of yet another iconic building, Tie Dubai World Trade Centre, which for many years was the tallest building in the Middle East. Here in the World Trade Club we will introduce you to a modern take on Arab gastronomy, including a delicious camel tournedos. Our Grand Chapitre will conclude on Monday, April 20th with a trip to the Yas Island Formula 1 Circuit in neighbouring Abu Dhabi, culminating with a poolside dinner at the splendid Emirates Palace Hotel – our fjnal iconic venue. Guests will have the chance to savour Maleh, a popular local fjsh; Quail with traditional Emirati Spices and Braised Camel Tournedos. Traditional Arabic sweets, pictured below, will complete this six-course dinner with exceptional wine pairings. GRAND CHAPITRE PROGRAMME: MONDAY 20 TH APRIL Journey to Abu Dhabi via Executive Bus which will leave Dubai at 11:30. En-route to the capital, a special visit to the famous F1 Race Track on Yas Island has been arranged. 13:00 Tie Executive Bus will take passengers on an exclusive ride round the F1 Race Track, after which guests will be invited to view some of the racing cars. A light, picnic-style lunch will be served. 15:00 Arrival at Emirates Palace to check in. Tie Executive Bus will then travel to the other recommended Hotels – St. Regis Hotel and Hilton Hotel (Corniche) which are situated close by. 19:00 A relaxed Poolside Party under the stars at Emirates Palace Hotel featuring Arabic and International cuisine.
