A Day in the Life of a Student for On Campus In Person Learning ● Before coming to school : Staff and students should self-screen at home by checking their temperature to ensure it is below 100 degrees. Staff and students are to remain at home if their temperature is 100 degrees or above, they have any symptoms consistent with COVID-19, they have had close contact (proximity of less than 6 feet for more than 15 minutes with a person diagnosed with COVID-19. ● Arrival on campus -Staff Check In (Temperature Check/Screening Questions) -Student Check In (Temperature Check/Screening Questions) *Student arrivals/check ins will divided by alphabet and based on last name. A - M (example) 8:40 - 8:50 and N - Z (example) 8:50 - 9:00 *ESS students checked in by ESS/Students riding a bus checked in by Bus Driver *All staff and children in 3rd grade and above are required to wear a mask and lower grades are encouraged to wear a mask. *If a staff member or student has a temperature of 100 degrees or above, he or she will be sent home. *Parents walking their child up to the Check In Station are required to wear a mask.

The playground will be separated by grade levels. Teachers will promptly pick up students at 8:55 to go to the classroom. PUSD Homeschooling Information ● Available to TK - 8th grade ● Parents are provided with District curriculum and instructional materials to teacher their child from home. ● Poway Home Education Program (PHEP) teachers meet regularly with the student and parent(s) to monitor progress and support learning. ● The parent and student determine the 4-5 hour day schedule that works best for them to compete the week’s curriculum.
