What is the Rural Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)? Each District develops their own Rural TIP Part of the Statewide TIP Includes the following types of projects: – Maintenance – Added Capacity – Safety – Public Transit Only includes Projects for Counties and Areas not in the Corpus Christi Metropolitan Planning Organization (CCMPO) The CCMPO develops their own TIP Corpus Christi District FY 2019 – FY 2022 Rural TIP 6

Rural Public Transportation Services The Corpus Christi District is served by four Rural Transit Districts that provide rural public transportation services Each Rural Transit District receives funding as part of the Rural TIP This funding comes through TxDOT from the Federal Transit Administration Corpus Christi District FY 2019 – FY 2022 Rural TIP 12
