Responses to 2013 Reporting and Recommendations § Centers to provide more information on ‘justifications’: ● How LEAs and RUAs further the CGIAR Vision ● Reporting improved § Centers to provide more information on all patent and PVP applications and trademarks registrations. ● Justifications for patent protection still need improvement § Centers to include a section on IA management in future CRPs ● Will be required in new CRPs

  10. The FC IP Group Recommendations: § Centers: ● Provide market and dissemination strategy plans for patents ● Track impact of LEAs and RUAs on target beneficiaries ● Share best practices with other centers and leverage these resources when drafting agreements
