Open Enrollment 1. If you are interested in a program not offered at your home school you must complete the online "Open Enrollment" application. 2. Open enrollment forms are available on the DUSD homepage at www.dysart.org. 3. If you attend another HS other than your home school, you will likely need to provide your own transportation to and from school. Limited transportation may be available. Applications for bus passes will be available after successful completion of enrollment.

Cambridge Willow Canyon High School Dysart High School Cambridge 9 th grade courses School-wide (all freshmen) are Honors courses Cambridge English, Math, Upon successful passing of Biology and World History Cambridge exams, students Honors classes available are eligible for the Grand Upon successfully passing Canyon Diploma Cambridge exams, students Students can remain enrolled are eligible for the Grand at WCHS and take AP or IB Canyon Diploma level classes Students may remain enrolled Cambridge Spanish and Art & at DHS and take AP or Dual Design available Enrollment classes

Freshmen COURSE SELECTION Core classes (English, Math, Science, Social Studies) Core classes will be assigned based on the results of your placement tests & teacher recommendation. (i.e. Honors Placement) Electives Please choose 1 elective and 3 alternate electives . Write in the course number and course name on your course selection sheet.
Freshmen Placement in High School English and Math Courses Placement into English 1-2 (H), Algebra 1-2 (H), Geometry 1-2 and Geometry 1-2 (H) will be based on: Proficiency on benchmark assessments Proficiency on Algebra placement assessment Teacher recommendation Please take your benchmark and placement assessments seriously.

If you are planning to attend a university, please refer to the pages in the Course Selection Guide for advanced college preparation information. Your Schedule … Every effort will be made to schedule your elective choices by your order of listed preference using the 1-4 system. Scheduling changes will ONLY be made for academic reasons. Elective choices will not be changed after you turn in your form . High school schedules are built on elective choices.
