I-95 Southbound Rappahannock River Crossing • Construction on $125 million project begins August 2018 • Converts 3 existing lanes to local lanes on I-95 southbound • In the median, 3 thru traffic lanes will be built on I-95 southbound • New lanes start north of Route 17 interchange in Stafford and continue south past Route 3 interchange in Fredericksburg/Spotsylvania • New bridge to be built over the Rappahannock River to carry thru lanes in the median • Replaces Route 17 overpasses in Stafford 11
