  2. 2019 NCSEA Board of Directors Election FREDERICK R. POINTS Career Consultant Jewish Family Services Frederick R. Points, was born in Columbus, Ohio attend Columbus Public Schools and graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School. Mr. Points is married (Deborah) and they have three adult children, two sons and one daughter along with ten grandchildren. Mr. Points graduated from Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois with a comprehensive major in Social Science in Education. Upon graduation from college, Fred spent fourteen years working in Chicago as an Administrator of Cook County Economic Development Association developing workforce training programs and managing a variety of social service programs. During this time, Mr. Points was heavily involved in community service, mostly working with youth programs and the Clement Stone Foundation. Returning to Columbus, Ohio, Mr. Points worked for Goodwill Columbus establishing the workforce initiatives under the Clinton Administration. The past eighteen years Mr. Points has worked for Jewish Family Services as a Career and Workforce Consultant. As a Consultant Mr. Points is a Practitioner of Meyers-Briggs instruments, Life Coach and Trainer. Along with these duties, he currently oversee multiple programs with Franklin County Child Support Agency, the Franklin County Courts and Fatherhood programs. As an active community volunteer today, Mr. Points serves several organizations, having been honored as volunteer of the year by the Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections, YMCA of Central Ohio, and having the privilege to serve as chairperson of the Eldon and Elsie Ward Family YMCA Consulting Board. Fred has great compassion and commitment to his community and only wants to give by providing hands on inspiration and training to improve the human condition.
