As one of the largest benefits brokers in the nation, NFP provides their clients with best-in-class products and services. • With this acquisition, the ShawHankins name officially changed to NFP in August 2019. You will see this new name and branding on your benefit materials. • While the company name will change, exceptional service remains the priority for the ShawHankins/NFP team. The service team, enrollment portal, contact numbers and office locations will not change. However, they will now have even greater ability to effectively serve you. 1

Changes for 2020 • Life, Voluntary Life, Long Term and Short Term Disability moving to MetLife • No change to benefit schedule or rates • Voluntary Life Modified Open Enrollment • All eligible employees can enroll without prior coverage or Evidence of Insurability (EOI) up to $100,000 • Employees can continue to elect up to $30,000 of Spouse Voluntary Life without Employee benefit election • Health Flexible Spending Account Change • The Healthcare FSA Limit is now $2,700 1

Employee’s Responsibility • Read Open Enrollment Materials • Update your personal information and check beneficiaries • Complete your enrollment by going online, meeting with an enrollment counselor, or calling into the NFP Service Center by 11:59pm on November 8, 2019. NO EXCEPTIONS!! • Check your January payroll deductions to ensure accuracy 1

Enrollment Guidelines • Open Enrollment is your opportunity to make elections for 2020 • To add someone to your benefits you have to provide the following documentation: • Marriage Certificate • Birth Certificate • Date of Birth • Social Security Numbers • The only other time you can make a change to those elections is if you experience a Qualifying Life Event . 5

  8. Qualifying Life Event • Marriage • Divorce • Birth of Child • Loss of other coverage • Loss of dependent status You have 31 days from the date of the Qualifying Life Event to notify Human Resources of the change and provide them with appropriate documentation. 4

Bswift Online Enrollment • Make all elections through Bswift enrollment portal: www.forsyth.bswift.com • Username: last name, and last 4 digits of your ss# • Example: Smith4567 • Password: Last 4 digits of your ss# • If you do not make elections through the enrollment portal, your coverage will roll over for the 2020 plan year. The only exception is Flexible Spending. You must enroll in Flexible Spending in order to participate in the plan for 2020. • You will not be permitted to make changes after the open enrollment period ends, unless you experience a qualifying event. 6

For the best benefits, make sure you utilize an In-Network provider. • To locate a provider log on to metlife.com and go to I Want To Find a MetLife Dentist. Enter your zip code and select the PDP Plus network. Enter your search criteria and click on the SUBMIT button. Flexible Spending Accounts • Will continue to be administered by TASC for 2020 • Two separate accounts- Healthcare Spending Account and Dependent Care Spending Account • Allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars to spend on qualified expenses, reducing your taxable income • Must make new elections for 2020- via bswift • Healthcare Maximum is now $2,700 23

Flexible Spending Accounts • Medical Spending Account • Maximum contribution of $2,700 • Some eligible expenses- Deductibles, copayments, dental expense, vision services and materials • Dependent Care Spending Account • $5,000 for married couple filing joint income tax returns, $2,500 if unmarried or married and filing separate income taxes • Some eligible expenses- any care of a dependent that allows you and your spouse to work: day care, after school program, in-home care, camps • May rollover up to $500 left in the Medical Spending Account at the end of the year. Any other unused funds will be forfeited. 23

Basic Life & AD&D and Voluntary Life & AD&D • Forsyth County Schools provides a Basic Life and AD&D benefit of $30,000 at no cost to you • Provided through Met Life • Forsyth County Schools provides a Voluntary Life and AD&D benefit up to $500,000 for Employees, $100,000 for Spouses and $10,000 for Child(ren) at additional cost • Provided through Met Life 24

Voluntary Life Insurance Please note: Since your insurance will be provided by a new carrier, this open enrollment all employees without prior coverage can enroll in Voluntary Life up to a maximum of $100,000 without answering evidence of insurability (EOI). Those with existing coverage can increase to $100,000 without EOI. Employees can also elect/increase Spousal Voluntary Life up to $25,000 without EOI. Benefit Coverage Employee Voluntary Life/AD&D You can purchase coverage in increments of $10,000 up to a maximum of $500,000 not to exceed 5 x your annual salary. New Hires: You will have a guarantee issue (GI) amount of $350,000 (not to exceed 5 x your annual salary). Employee elections over GI will require Evidence of Insurability. Short Term Disability • Provided through Met Life • Pays after you are disabled for 14 days • Covers 60% of your salary, up to $1,500 per week • Pays for up to 17 weeks of disability • Enroll through bswift If you are not currently enrolled in Short Term Disability, you must complete an Evidence of Insurability and be approved for coverage. 26
