Introduction Objective of the presentation To demonstrate the wide range of utilization of Nb in linepipe and structural TMCP steel plates by presentation of 5 linepipe and structural projects of plate deliveries with bigger quantities General introductory remarks Starting from a CMn-steel, Nb is the very first element that is added in TMCP steel plates. Nb is well recognised to improve properties, but the addition has to be combined with proper plate process parameters in order to exploit the effect of Nb.
