The Random Acts of Kindness Club - History Students from the MS Student Council along with a selection of other student leaders attended ● the Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center (MARC) training for student leaders (October 2017) at Bridgewater State University Those students suggested starting a Kindness Club ● The Random Acts of Kindness Club started in January 2018 and was open to any interested ● students in grades 5-8 - there were 16 students The RAK Club is lead by our MS student leaders - building consensus when choosing activities and ● working to encourage kindness throughout the year This year the RAK Club is open to students in grades 3-8 and we currently have over 50 students ●
First Year - Activities & Projects The Kindness Mural - ● painted by the Club members The Kindness Rock ● Garden - rocks painted by students in grades K- 8 Kindness Week ●
Anticipated Activities & Projects for 2018-19 Kindness Rock Garden located ● at the Emerson Wing Kindness Mural located in the ● Emerson Wing Kindness Activities for grades ● K-8 throughout the year Kindness Week (April) ● ????? ●
