1. Demo + Presentation 10 Minutes over 2 sessions in week 12 11-1pm and 1-3pm on Tue 6 th April Max 5 slides Suggested format: Summary of the main paper(s) you are basing your implementation on Related info: secondary papers, references, libraries Specific Implementation (x2 slides): what you did including progress Conclusions: discuss how successful was the project, any insights/lessons learned, future work Live Demo
2. Source Code and Implementation Submit all source code and executable file on CD To computer science reception Also submit a copy of presentation Deadline 6 th April @ 5pm Primarily to confirm what you have presented in your demo & report
3. Video 1-9 minute video Upload to youtube. Link should be included in report Please upload at reasonably high def Deadline 12 th April, 2010
4. Report As a short paper/sketch: 4 pages in Siggraph Format http://www.siggraph.org/publications/instructions/index.html Aim for quality not quantity As if for a submission to a conference i.e. You will be penalised for: Writing errors / bad formatting Lack of clarity Technically unsound / incorrect statements Ineffective structure Inconsistency with demo or implementation Submit by email with the title yourname-studentnumber-cs7057.pdf Deadline 12 th April, 2010

IET Seminar Tomorrow @ 1pm David Delany, Neurosynergy Games Setting up a tech company Dr David Delany is a neuroscientist and co-founder of Neurosynergy Games (www.neurosynergygames.com), an Irish neurotech software company formed to commercialise a revolutionary approach to clinical and recreational brain training Prior association with the IET programme with IE Group Project 2008-09 to develop a prototype of the brain training game engine. The talk will cover some of the more interesting commercial, scientific, and technological aspects of setting up a tech company.
