Alternative Discharge Final Report • Discharge completed per KDHE approval – Daily reports submitted • 36.4 MG discharged to Kansas River through NPDES permitted outfall • Up to 3 years storage capacity restored

Land Application Final Report • 5.2 MG applied as fertilizer – Highest concentrations used for land app • 7 fields received water
What the City has done • Ongoing Infrastructure Improvements – Well head automation – Tank inspections – Pipe improvements – Asset management & BMP for maintenance • Cross training – Between departments – Increased staff commitment and availability • Updating Operations and Procedures • Developed a Gatekeeper (stakeholder) group
Consultant Selection • Selection process – Dr. Lines, from KU, alternative delivery methods – Blind process – Written proposal and interview stage – Risk based proposals • RFP posted 11/17 – 7 proposals – 4 interviews • Project tracking throughout
