Family Week 2019 Building Connections in the Spirit of Hope
A Family Blessing Lord God, We thankyou for our families, Those who live with us and those who don’t. Thankyou for our brothers and sisters, help us to live together as a family. We ask you to forgive us for the times we have been mean to each other, or forgotten to help one another. We pray for your help to become closer in our lives together. We make this prayer to you, Christ Our Lord.
Family Week 2019 This year our school is participating in CatholicCare’s Family Week activities. Family Week is a time to celebrate what is good about our families, and to think about what can make them better.
Why is Family Week important? We rely on our family when we are sad or when we need help. Having a happy family makes us feel that we have somewhere to belong. We need to celebrate all different types of families, because every family is important. Some families need help and support to be happy and healthy.
Who it helps Funds raised from Family Week help… families, parents, children, and individuals of all ages, cultures, and religious beliefs.
